Program Guidelines for the Spring of 2023

  • BA Classes will follow all CDC  Guidelines.  

  • Big Apple does not provide refunds or credit.  BA will not extend refunds, make-up classes, or credit for class absences or any class or classes that have been cancelled due to any event that is out of Big Apple's control.  This includes but is not limited to the Covid Pandemic, Variants of Covid, other possible viruses or pandemics, city/state/nation wide mandates, general sickness, injury, school cancellation, weather, natural disasters or any other unlikely events.​ 

  • If in-person school should close due to a covid outbreak, BA will host 1 hour zoom classes until we are able to return to the school.

  • Students must register for a minimum of one class per semester (meaning signing up for a class for the length of the semester), singular day or partial registration is not allowed.

  • For All Programs (YCS, PS6,MNS): Spring Classes begin on Feb 1st, 2023. Pro-rated Refunds can only be requested the first 2 weeks of the semester.   If a person or family cancels their registration in a class prior to the start of the class, the family will incur a $75 cancellation fee and will lose the registration fee.  This money will be deducted out of the payment received by BAYS for said class.  Students can withdraw from any class during the first two weeks of the semester for the specific class in which they are enrolled. The refund in such a case would be  pro-rated  minus the classes attended and the registration fee. If a student joins after the refund period is over there will be no refund under any circumstance. IT IS UNDERTSOOD THAT NO CREDIT OR REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IN THE Spring 2023 semester after the refund period ends.  The refund period ends on Feb 12th, 2023 for Wed,Thurs, and Fri classes. For Mon and Tues classes the last day for a pro-rated refund will be February 16th, 2023.

  • Furthermore BAYS will not extend a refund, make up days or credit for class absence OR any class or classes that have been cancelled due to any event that is out of Big Apple’s control.  This includes but is not limited to the Covid pandemic, variants of Covid-19, other possible viruses or pandemics, general sickness, injury, school cancellations, city/state/nation wide mandates, weather, natural disasters or any other unlikely events. In the case that in person classes are cancelled or suspended for any length of time classes will be taught via zoom. I understand and agree to follow these terms and all Covid safety precautions deemed necessary by Big Apple Youth Sports, the CDC, the school in which my child attends, and/or the Dept. of Education. 

  • There are no transfers between classes (switching from one class to another).  Classes are also not transferable between friends or family members.

  • For Insurance purposes we do not allow After School Participants to bring guests to the program, this includes family members.

  • On half days BA will run from 2:35 till 5PM at PS6.

  • On half days BA will run from 2:45 till 5PM at YCS.

  • On half days BA will be closed at MNS.

  • There are no make ups or refunds for missed days.

  • When schools are closed for holidays etc. there will be no after school.  There will be no refunds for unplanned school closings.

  • For Safety reasons all BA Students are required to follow instructions and participate in activities as directed.  Students unwilling to abide by BA rules and regulations will be dismissed from the program.

  • Please be aware all BA classes will also on occasion play other sports than those listed for the class on that day.
